Info Session & Fundraiser May 25

Please join us for an info-session and fundraiser in the Grand Room at Industrial Eats on Thursday, May 25 from 6 to 8 pm. The gathering has been designed to introduce ourselves to the community, and donations from establishments including Industrial Eats, New Frontiers, and Lo-Fi Wines have enabled us to invite the community without charging admission. The event will include an informal program encouraging guests to get directly involved in the project, make cash donations, and bid on a variety of irresistible items donated by local artisans, growers, winemakers, and retail establishments for the benefit of Buellton Community Garden.

Our location is the quarter-acre parcel on the southeast corner of Central Avenue and Second Street in Buellton (480 Central Avenue, behind Houston’s Liquor). It is owned by the City of Buellton, and the city has agreed to provide us with the land and the water for ten years and has also granted us roughly half the cash we need to complete the next phase of the project  - tractor work, irrigation, and a fence - all necessary steps that must be completed before we can invite Buellton residents to become members and begin growing fruits, flowers, vegetables, herbs, and community together.

We hope you will join us.
