Work Day Planned for September 2

You may have noticed there is a big pile of mulch on the garden lot now. We have Humberto and Tapia Tree Service to thank. Humberto was kind enough to pause while directing the delicate business of removing an enormous valley oak that fell in Los Olivos last week to accept our business card. He knows our lot, and sure enough delivered a load to us a day or two later. We can be sentimental about oak trees, so it made us happy to find a new purpose for some of what was once a beloved landmark in Los Olivos.

If you want to help spread mulch we’ll be starting early on Saturday morning September 2 beginning with the area that lies between the fence and the sidewalk along Second Street. Bring your gloves and a hat.
